When it comes to one of the biggest financial decisions of your life, experience and perspective matter. As a husband-and-wife team, Bri and Russ Newkirk bring a unique combination of deep mortgage expertise and real-world real estate investing experience to the table. Together, they help clients think strategically about home financing while making the process feel clear, comfortable, and personal. Their shared goal is simple: to help clients make confident decisions that support both their homeownership dreams and their long-term financial future.
Russ serves as a Mortgage Advisor, focusing on business development, client relationships, and helping clients understand the bigger financial picture behind their mortgage decisions.
Before joining Bri full-time in the lending business, Russ spent 15 years in full-time ministry, including 10 years as the lead pastor of a church he helped plant in 2012. Leading and growing a community required building meaningful relationships, communicating complex ideas in simple ways, and helping people navigate important life decisions during pivotal seasons. Those same skills now shape how Russ serves his clients today.
At the same time, Russ and Bri were building their own real estate investment portfolio. Since 2014, they have actively invested in real estate and currently own multiple rental properties across several markets. Russ has personally sourced and analyzed many of these opportunities, gaining firsthand experience evaluating deals and understanding how financing decisions impact long-term investment performance.
This real-world experience allows Russ to connect especially well with business owners, investors, relocation clients, and move-up buyers who want to approach real estate with both a lifestyle and financial strategy in mind.
Known for his natural charisma and ability to simplify complex financial concepts, Russ enjoys helping clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout the home financing process.
Outside of work, Russ and Bri stay busy raising their two sons and cheering them on in their sports activities. When he’s not working with clients, Russ enjoys staying active and spending time with family.
